Carrageous Wolverines show Carracter
Llloyd Carr and his Wolverines showed their character by returning to the gridiron and executing well in their rout of the Irish of Notre Dame. The entire sports writing staff of both daily newspapers in Detroit lambasted Lloyd Carr and his team for their opening performances and all but Mitch Album suggested (or even demanded) his resignation. None of them appear to understand that, as much as we love our winning tradition at Meeeechigan, we value character more. Over the past two weeks Carr and his players have shown their character on and off the field and have begun to vindicate themselves before the sports media which lacks a proper understanding and perspective on intercollegiate athletics.
