Soccer Champions!
Kathryn’s team played in the season-end tournament this weekend. First game was at 10:30am and they won in convincing fashion 5-0. The championship game began at 1pm. It was a very one-sided game with Kathryn’s team up 2-0. But a couple of mistakes allowed the other team to tie it up. Kathryn’s team must have had 50 shots on goal… but nothing would get through! They went into overtime – two of them! It was down to a shoot-out. (No pressure!) After 5 players from each team, it was still tied. It came down to a one to one shoot out. Kathryn’s team scored a goal and their goalie stopped one! YEAH!! After 5 hours at the fields in 50 degree, windy, cloudy weather, they pulled it off! We celebrated in the rec hall with a soccer cake (which Adam knocked over before the game ended) and cookies. We really enjoyed watching her and her team play this season. They are pretty impressive. I’m sad that it’ll be another 4 months before we can watch them again.

I know! Its been a while since I posted something! Anyway, we’ve had a busy couple of months. Gary’s parents came to visit and we took them all over. We’ve had soccer every weekend. And sometimes a swim meet afterwards. Mom and dad were here for 2 weeks… although you won’t find many pictures of them. Don’t know what happened there. Rachael turned 9, which was loads of fun! Theiss-ville update
How’s everything going? School is about to start for us. The kids go back on Tuesday. They are looking forward to it. They met their teachers on Thursday and are pretty excited. They started soccer last week and are going to be swimming again – starting Tuesday. Life will be busy once again! To add a little spice around here, we got a puppy this past Tuesday… didn’t want Adam to be bored once the girls are back in school! She’s a cutie. The Theisses have a New Home!
Hey all!
We’ve bought a house! Here are some pics of the outside. Lots of good house hunting stories, but I’ll save them for another day… Our new addres is 14456 Omera Dr., Carrollton, VA 23314. We’ll send some inside pics in a couple of days.
Been really busy looking all day, every day at houses. Now we’re scurrying around trying to get utilities set up and the kids back into school. We expect to close on the house at the end of the month. We’ll be moving in on Saturday and hope to get our stuff delivered on Monday.
